Game development, a journey begins.

I started learning game development very recently and I thought I'd write about it to understand my own thoughts better. I want to understand what I should think about game development. As the age old questions beckons, is Unity better or Unreal. I researched on the internet and found that I had dug myself into an even deeper hole than Alice in wonderland. After days and weeks of pondering around, I finally concluded that Unity had a bigger community and better training resources and I started learning game development. I have only completed a checkpoint of one course so far, so as you can tell I am a total beginner. I will not let that deter me and I will continue learning the engine up to a point where I feel comfortable enough to build a mini game of my own.
